More a question than a journal entry

This is more of a question than anything else. I have been having problems with my adobe photo elements 5.0 latley and was wondering if this was normal or common. If so I would really appreciate any advice that anyone might be willing to offer. I'm not sure what the problem with it is, all I do know is that it will refuse to start up, and tell me that I'm trying to use an invalid adress. I feel ready to pull my hair out, since my adobe is what I live off of art wise, and I have no other options. Please help me if you can. I would really appreciate it.
